Thus ended the most horrible six months in Edward Aimsley

Allbright's life, even more horrible because he ended up losing

the house on Maple Street, his brand new Lincoln Town Car, and

ten thousand a year in alimony in the divorce settlement.

Thankfully, she had remarried some Yuppy from Boston two years

later, so at least he didn't have to pay alimony anymore. He had

definitely learned his lesson about women, though, and even

though he knew there were a few in town who would just love to

marry him and have a crack at spending all his money, he wasn't

about to let any of the gold-digging bitches try.
